By joining the Young People's Socialist League, you are not only identifying yourself as an open socialist. You are joining a dedicated group of comrades working everyday for a more democratic society. Applicants for membership must agree with our principles and pay very modest sliding scale membership dues (although those in extreme hardship cases may petition for a waiver).

Members:

• Are entitled to vote at local meetings and national conventions
• May organize a YPSL chapter, and entitled to free organizing materials
• Receive a subscription to The Torch, Journal of the Young People's Socialist League
• Receive Young Socialist Review, YPSL's internal discussion bulletin

To Join:

• Fill out the online membership form and pay dues electronically.
• Alternatively, you can download a membership application (pdf) or request one from the YPSL National Office. Fill it out, include a check or money order for your dues, made out to YPSL, and mail it all to:

• Membership Dues are:
  

  a. Low income or under 18 years old: $10 yearly.
  b. Regular Income: $15 yearly.
  c. Dues may be waived in cases of incarceration, financial hardship or in exchange for volunteer labor.
